Grand Devajyoti Ray show in New Delhi------31 August

 

 

 

Pseudorealism is a very new genre and most people are still not very aware of this new style. Ray's travelling show was hence programmed to also dissseminate information about this new emerging language of artistic rendering.

Now after a span of almost one year Ray's works will be displayed in his native country India. The show will be introduced by Mr AR Raju, the ex-director of Travacore House and an essay will be written by Mr Rajendra, the editor of one of India's premium Fine Arts Journals. The essay will cover in brief aspects of Pseudorealism, its emerging relevance and a assesment of its spread and influence.

Devajyoti Ray's show will be held from 5th to 15th October at New Delhi's Sridharani Gallery. The show is likely to be an indicator for the popularity of Ray's new bold style and its future course.

Devajyoti Ray, the emerging face of contemporary Indian fine art will be showcased this winter in India's capital city of New Delhi. Devajyoti Ray is today a known face in middle east. Last year Ray's show in Dubai was a grand success. It was followed by a tour of his works accross other countries, which had helped not only in sales but more importantly in educating the people in these countries about Ray's new genre of Art.
