Nam Jun Paik  (1932 -2006) is one of Korea's most important contemporary artists known for his immense versatility in multiple fields of art including film making, painting, music and writing. Often credited with the original inventor of the Video Art way back in 1970s, at a time, when US and Europe were still reeling under the influence of abstarct expressionism and Dada movements.

Maqbool  Fida  Husain (born in 1915, Pandharpur, Maharastra) popularly known as MF Husain is the best known Indian artist in the world. The Forbes magazine¹ had once described Husain as the "Picasso of India".

 Anish Kapoor's latest work "Mountain" was put for auction by Bonham in Dubai. Bonham had also placed together works of veteran Iranian artists Faramarz Pilaram and Sohrab Sepehri, Iraqi artist Issam El-Said and Emirates' artist Abdul Qadir Al- Rais. Yet the show stopper was the work by Anish Kapoor.
